Pritchetts Personal Training Branding

Rebranding a local PT business to attract new clients and inspire a passion for fitness.

A branding project for a local personal trainer, completed as a freelance commission. I identified that the target audience consists of men and women over 30 who may feel nervous about joining a gym. Often, these individuals are unhappy with their current fitness levels and require a guide to navigate what can be a daunting path. To maximize signups, I produced a roller banner featuring a QR code, making the transition from entering the gym to signing up as seamless as possible for the user.

A mascot-led design was the route I decided to go down, as it comes across as friendly and inviting to people who are already nervous about the gym. There is a stigma around the gym in general—that it's a place filled with grunting bodybuilders. This logo slices through this narrative with a happy kettlebell.

The green used also comes across as very warm and inviting, evoking feelings of growth and a desire to improve. By using bold typography on the roller banner, I helped the brand stand out against typical personal trainer posters, once again challenging the stereotype of what a gym environment is like.
